The first project completed for Big Box Storage was a 14,000sq.ft extension. This project marks the start of our long standing working relationship with Big Box and Storage Mart.
Phase 1 Building Extension
Situated in the busy Parkwood Industrial Estate in Maidstone, this extension wasn’t without its challenges. Working hard to overcome some complicated detailing difficulties with ground levels and drainage, we still focused our attention on the client’s needs.
Construction in a live business environment
The facility remained open to the public for business seven days a week throughout the construction period.
The original build project was 6 months in duration and at a cost of £780k.
Phase 2 Building Extension
We were later contracted to add additional storage at the rear of the building and to create a new car parking area which included re-surfacing, fencing and extensive drainage repairs. This was after the business was transitioned over to Storage Mart.
The ongoing relationship with Big Box and Storage Mart has put us in the unique position of wholly understanding the needs of the business and constructing buildings which align with their goals.
