We are delighted to announce that planning permission has been secured for a new industrial project at Orbital Park, Ashford.
The new industrial unit will facilitate business growth for Opak Ltd, a local packaging distribution company that has outgrown its current premises.
Kent Structures has been appointed to provide full design and build services for the 14,000sq.ft warehouse storage unit with ancillary offices. Construction will be traditional steel portal frame with composite metal cladding. The unit has been designed to achieve very high efficiencies in building running costs.
The Kent Structures team has been involved from the outset, developing and delivering designs throughout the planning process.
We will be involved in all aspects of construction from groundworks, SUDS drainage systems and Section 278 street works, through to fit out and fencing works.
The project will get underway at the end of May and completion is planned for February 2025.
