A phased industrial unit development project at the Shearway Business Park in Folkestone.

Initial Industrial Unit Construction
We were successful in winning the tender for Phase 2 construction of a series of buildings to be developed for this highly-successful print packaging business.

Work included construction of a new storage building featuring a clear span 1st floor structure capable of taking 1 tonne per m2!

This 8,000sq.ft project was completed in 6 months at a cost of £470k.

Further Industrial Unit Construction
Several years later we were approached with repeat business to develop further storage on the same site.

The client was very happy with Phase 3 of the scheme, which delivered a further 10,000sq.ft of storage for £0.75m. The project was completed within 8-months.

Construction Type
Both projects used vibro-stone column ground improvement and steel portal frame construction with traditional composite cladding. Works were carefully planned to enable the business to remain fully operational throughout construction.
